It’s about time I find a little peace… Song 218

Today’s song is kind of a rocker. And that’s all I have to say about that…

Song 218: “I Won’t Hold This Against You”

http://mattsams.bandcamp.com/track/i-wont-hold-this-against-you

It’s about time I find a little peace
Taking all the tiny bits and pieces from me
Solitude in case of liars chomping at the bit
How long must I scream until this is it

I won’t hold this against you
But I don’t know what I’ll do

Sticks and stones in your words cutting them to pieces
Trips and hopes on overload stealing into weakness
Rocking the boat in shallow moats never quite sinking
Every day a challenge made, an exercise in thinking

I won’t try to tell you
All about what you should do

I won’t send another choice to you
It really doesn’t matter what I do

I won’t hold this against you

I won’t hold this against you
It really doesn’t matter what I do

    1. Thanks for the compliment and listening! Those harmonics you’re hearing are due to me lightly letting up on the fretting hand while picking somewhat aggressively. I layered several guitar tracks, all using the same technique. I mainly use Amplitube 3 for my guitar parts. The main amps you’re hearing are a Jet City and an ENGL Fireball model. They’re both high gain and the harmonics really shine. I hope that helps.
