Won’t you come and dance with me in the moonlit sand… Song 13

Lucky 13… Almost two weeks into my project. I like how it’s rolling along. I did it before and I can do it again! So, yeah…

Anyway, today’s song was based on a statement I made jokingly. You don’t have to tell me eighteen times! Sounded like a good title for a country song. So, I made a country song. Here’s my country song… probably the only one this year.

Song 13: “You Don’t Have To Ask Me Eighteen Times (When Seventeen Will Do)

You don’t have to ask me eighteen times
Not when seventeen will do

Yes dear I love you and I’ll say it every day
You make me happy too
Here by your side I will always stay
No matter what we go through
Darlin, you know that I’m in love with you

You will be my darling girl, and I will be your man
Won’t you come and dance with me on the moonlit sand

You don’t have to ask me eighteen times
Not when seventeen will do

Yes dear, I know you like to hold my hand
And I like your hands too
They all scratch their heads when we walk by hand in hand
Cuz they never saw a love so true
Darlin you know that I’m in love with you

You will be my darling girl, and I will be your man
Won’t you come and dance with me on the moonlit sand

You don’t have to ask me eighteen times
Not when seventeen will do

You don’t have to ask me eighteen times
Not when seventeen will do
