Are we Trojan Horses in disguise… Song 24

I got a new bass today! That makes me happy. Up until now I’ve been playing my bass parts on my acoustic guitar, using pitch effects to lower the tone an octave. So, one more piece of the puzzle falls into place. Today’s song came together quickly. The drum part was originally going to be a drum machine sound, I scrapped that after the organ and synth parts were done. I was also surprisingly sparse with the guitar tracks on this one. Just one main guitar part, a lead and a little beef at the end. So, done is done and here it is:

Song 24: “A Million More”

Are we accidents waiting to happen
Are we trojan horses in disguise

We can hold out a million years
And then a million more

Are we waiting for lights to change
Are we dreaming of stars colliding

We can dream up a million ways
And then a million more

Dream on, I can follow too
I want to dream with you
We’re spot on, when we break it down
I know what I found there

Are we wasting all our time
Are we confused enough yet

We can dream up a million ways
We can dream up a million ways
We can dream up a million ways
And then a million more
