I will not die with this life unlived, I will find peace… Song 55

Wow, 55 songs now. I can’t believe February is almost over. Spring isn’t far away now. This song is packed with parts. Full strings, piano, synths, choirs, drums, 15 guitars, bass, ebow, and 12 vocal parts. It took a long time to compile it all, but I think this is my favorite song of this project so far. It’s very lush and upbeat… and I bet the melody will get stuck in your head for days!

Song 55: “Never Run Away From Life”

I don’t want to fade away, stand for once I’ll be okay
Pick myself up and never, ever run away from life

I won’t live my life in shame, I’m not born to live in pain
Trust myself to play the game, never run away from life

I believe I’ve said my piece, trust that I will find a way
I will not die with this life unlived, I will find peace

I believe we can find peace, love for all and sweet release
Chase away the pain and grief, never run away from life

Chase your tail and break your back, end up with a heart attack
Or live life not looking back, never run away from life

I believe I’ve said my piece, trust that I will find a way
I will not die with this life unlived, I will find peace

I believe we can find peace, love for all and sweet release
Chase away the pain and grief, never run away from life
Never run away from life
