I guess my demons have nothing left to say… Song 177

There are a lot of chords in today’s song. There’s a lot going on here that all comes together in a musical stew. Mmm… tasty. Two acoustic guitar parts, electric guitar, guitar solo, strings, mellotron, drums, bass and piano…. oh yeah, also vocals with some cool effects on them. It took me a long time to finish, but I like the result!

I fell asleep in mid air
As the clouds were passing sentence

They thought I could never fly

I proved them all wrong
By facing another day
I guess my demons have nothing left to say

I tripped over solitude
As my life was starting to unwind

They told me I could not care

I proved them all wrong
By facing another day
I guess my demons have nothing left to say

Take me, tear me, tell me

Take me, tear me, tell me
