Apathy is over-rated… Song 202

Learning new software slowed me down a bit today. But it shows some promise. I eventually went back to the recording program I usually use to finish the song though. Upgrading to a 64bit version vs. the 32bit version I currently use, has rendered most of my plugins and virtual instruments useless. So, I have a choice ahead of me: Get with the times, or stick with what I know works… This is just the calm before the storm.

Song 202: “More And More”

I foresee the balance fading
Tribal tides crash on wounded shores
Apathy is over-rated
The tips and tricks trick more and more

I hope you see this is the calm before the storm
The claws are out, the teeth are bared
More and more, more and more

Pick and choose a worldly view
The battles confused with being bored
An ill-conceived innocence
The universe grows more and more

I hope you see this is the calm before the storm
The gloves are off, the charms wore off
More and more, more and more

We’re crazy now, it’s all too much
Too much time is ticking by stuck on the floor
Thoughts come alive, re-run trials
Hands in my face, more and more

I hope you see this is the calm before the storm
The knives are out, time’s run out
More and more, more and more

The charms wore off
More and more
The charms wore off
More and more
