Make me wish I was to blame… Song 213

Another month done, five more to go. July was pretty rough on me. Between the computer difficulties, the heat and extensive mental stress, I’m surprised I’m still in one piece. So, the month is over, tomorrow starts anew. This song is a real barn-burner! I like the days where I feel excited about what I’m creating. This song has me hooked. Dirty, aggressive bass synths, pumping metal drums, heavy guitars, eerie piano… I love it! Check it out!

Song 213: “Take My Light”

Break out my soul imprisoned
Take down these walls I build

Burn these final bridges down
Before the weary cross, mistaken

Tear at my heart strings
Make me wish I was to blame

Turn out the takers and give relief
Burn out their tired brains, forsaken

Take my light, don’t take my life
Take my light, don’t take my life

Burn these final bridges down
Before the weary cross, mistaken

Take my light, don’t take my life
Take my light, don’t take my life
