Burn that baby down and come alone… Song 351

Fifteen songs to go now. I’m in the home stretch!

I am often sparked to write a song when I come across a drum sound, or a synth sound that catches my attention. I start to imagine whole productions within seconds if I come across something interesting. The first synth in today’s song was one of those times. I like the way it turned out. Dark, brooding at times… even funky.

Song 351: “Come Alone”

There’s a time and place to be foolhardy
There’s always a reason to give in to the madness

Burn that baby down and come alone
Burn that baby down and come alone
Put that money down and come alone
Burn that baby down and come alone

I found a little trick to hide my eyes
I tried to find a reason to let you know

Burn that baby down and come alone
Burn that baby down and come alone
Put that money down and come alone
Burn that baby down and come alone

Those nights can get so dark it hurts
Those days can be so long it makes you numb

Burn that baby down and come alone
Burn that baby down and come alone
Put that money down and come alone
Burn that baby down and come alone

Burn that baby down and come alone
Burn that baby down and come alone
