Crystallized will, right behind my third eye… Song 353

The sun is shining bright today. It’s deceptive. It’s frigid outside and as soon as the wind gusts, it steals the very breath from your lungs. The dog doesn’t seem to comprehend this. She sees the sun shining through the windows and thinks that going outside is a good idea. Then 30 seconds later, she realizes that it is, in fact, cold as hell outside. I tried explaining all of this to her, but I don’t think she understood anything other than the word “outside”. Tail wags.

Song 353: “Burning Holes”

The sun is burning holes in my blinded eyes
I find that worried look buried in the ice

It’s always in my sunshine
It’s always when I wake up, wake up

Even though the sun is shining bright
It doesn’t make it warm when I step outside my world

The snow is blowing wild but I still feel alive
Crystallized will, right behind my third eye

It’s always in my sunshine
It’s always when I wake up, wake up

Even though the sun is shining bright
It doesn’t make it warm when I step outside my world

It’s always in my sunshine, sunshine
It’s always in my sunshine, sunshine
Burning holes

It’s always in my sunshine
It’s always when I wake up, wake up
It’s always in my sunshine
It’s always when I wake up, wake up
It’s always in my sunshine
It’s always when I wake up, wake up
It’s always in my sunshine
It’s always when I wake up, wake up, wake up
